ASOS Autumn/Winter 2013 preview

Last week, I headed to ASOS HQ to have a quick sneak peek of their autumn/winter 2013 collection. Now, this is a bit more monumental than going to another AW13 press day; let's face it, we're all ASOS addicts so this is basically like looking into a fashion crystal ball and seeing everything that we're going to be wearing in a couple of months time....so pay attention and take notes.

The mainline collection was bright and bold, with a myriad of prints from geometric to paisley to brocade and a clash of textures including soft fluffy knits and shiny PVC detailing. My pic of the accessories were all monochrome, waffle knits and metallic-detailed shoes. Oh and ASOS are expanding into stationary, including some cute pencil cases and notebooks. Anyone fancy taking a short course in...something which involves taking notes?!

Transitional
Bohemian embroidery, stacks of denim, punk-inspired tartan and a sprinkle of polka dots, ASOS have taken the the best parts of the 90s and bought them right up to date. That tartan dress will be mine!

ASOS Curve jewellery
The ASOS Curve collection is making it's long awaited foray into jewellery with a ghetto fabulous range of super sized bling. with slightly longer necklace lengths. I will most definitely be buying pieces from this collection!

ASOS x Antipodium
I am utterly obsessed with ASOS' second collection with super cool label Antipodium. I've literally been dreaming about these red velvet boots and subtle snakeskin detailing. How beautiful?!

ASOS Africa
Pretty much everyone I spoke to at the press day was obsessed with the new ASOS Africa collection. The prints got everyone talking, leopard print always goes down well but the lime and burgundy plaid a welcome surprise.

ASOS Black
ASOS Black is everything. Shimmery metallics, faux fur, brocade, velvet, embellishment and gothic beading; everything you need for the party season is right here.
