Double denim and a kimono

On days when you realise you have 15 minutes to get dressed, pack your bag and leave the house, it's good to have a little trick up your sleeve to add a bit of effortless edge to an outfit. I picked up this kimono from Primark a couple of days ago and I'm so pleased with it. I've been after a slouchy cover up I can chuck on casually or dress up for work. I've seen kimonos in Topshop but couldn't justify £45 so I'm glad I snapped up this £15 bargain from good old Primark. It's totally transformed my really basic outfit into something a little more distinctive. I also threw in a little subtle double denim in the outfit, the wedges are really old but absolute essentials in my wardrobe, proving that 'old is gold'.
