Golden Globes 2010

Awards season has finally kicked off! Golden Globes and the Oscars are my guilty pleasure, I love seeing a gorgeous dress on the red carpet. Here are my most favourite dresses from the Golden Globes 2010.

The Good

Diane Kruger in Lacroix

The most perfect combination, beautiful. Everything about this dress is stunning, the colour, the detailing, the fit.

Drew Barrymore in Versace

I love a long, slightly trailing gown. I think the nude colour works well with her skin tone, she looks radient.

Emily Blunt in Dolce & Gabbana

I'm not convinced that it works on her 100%, but it's a gorgeous dress and I love the colour. Pink floaty chiffon is the perfect antidote to the last couple of seasons of black.

Olivia Wilde in Gucci

I absolutely love this, it's a simple shape but the sparkles and slight draping keep it interesting.

Ashley Olsen

It's an Olsen, in something a little unexpected so of course I love it. Normally I wouldn't like something above the knee at an awards ceremony but this looks gorgeous, love the ruffles and colour.

 Jessica Stroup in Bally

I adore this dress, the colour looks amazing on her.

Penelope Cruz in Armani Prive

It's a little safe, but the shape is beautiful and I love the neckline

Sandra Bullock in Bottega Venta

I'm normally indifferent to what she wears, but this colour looks beautiful on her and I love the sheer fabric.

Jennifer Morrison in Luis Antonio

Not sure who she is, but the colour of the dress and the ruffles are just perfect

The Bad

Anna Paquin in Stella McCartney

She looks beautiful, the dress is beyond beautiful...but those shoes. It would have been one of my favourite dresses if it weren't for the shoes. I love the deep V and the sparkles.

Kate Winslett in Yves Saint Laurent

It actually pains me to say this about Yves Saint Laurent, but this is a little boring for me.

Carey Mulligan in Nina Ricci

This dress is beautiful, but I dont think it fits very well and I'm beginning to get a little bored of black after so many seasons of it.
